The Wyatt Trust is a philanthropic foundation providing grants to assist financially vulnerable South Australians. This may be directly as Small Grants to individuals and households for a range of goods and services relating to Wyatt focus areas, or as grants made via partner organisations.

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual to work in our Grants Team, providing support to three Regional Grants Managers in the development and management of new and existing grant partnerships. The successful candidate will also work in our Operations Team assisting with the assessment of Small Grant applications and facilitating training in relation to Wyatt’s Online Grants System.

To be successful you should have:

  • A commitment to the values of Wyatt, as well as understanding and empathy both with the circumstances of people experiencing financial disadvantage and its causes
  • A tertiary qualification in Social Sciences, Social Work, Education or other relevant field
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • A working knowledge of South Australian human services, particularly in relation to welfare, health, education and/or employment
  • A working knowledge of State and federal welfare policy.
