Across the globe, the negative effects of the climate crisis are being shouldered unequally, by those least able to afford it.

In 2022, The Wyatt Trust publicly committed to examining its own practices such as ensuring our grants, investments and operations have a climate lens. We shared that commitment via this statement, outlining our intentions and holding ourselves accountable to developing and implementing a strategy to carry these out.

This work is well underway, with updated approaches to our investment practices and new internal policies. We are also committed to continuous learning and being accountable for our practices which is why we have joined groups such as the Australian Environmental Grantmakers Network.

Once completed, Wyatt's Climate Strategy will continue to evolve as knowledge, technology, science and policy develop.
