Our move from the original land purchased by Dr William Wyatt, and from the site that has been our home since 1990, brings mixed feelings. On the one hand, there is great historical significance in serving our community from the land that helped establish The Wyatt Trust, and so there is some sense of loss as we farewell the site which has afforded the Trust such incredible privilege and opportunity.
On the other hand, we recognise that our work is growing, our role in shaping and supporting philantrhopy in South Australia is expanding, and we are quite simply, outgrowing our space. Our new site is more than a simple office re-location. We are building a hub – a place for people and organisations with aligned purpose and values to co-locate, collaborate and create a South Australian community that values, supports and engages with philanthropy as a critical component of community wellbeing.
