The Insights Grants Program is an evidence led approach to grant making, that combines community voice, local data and collaborative approaches to enable Wyatt to further understand and address the systemic issues impacting on South Australians in poverty.
Specific projects and grant rounds are identified, implemented and evaluated as demonstration or pilot projects. Projects demonstrating successful outcomes will be considered for ongoing funding with the aim that, over time, they lead to systemic changes which impact inequality and poverty.
In 2020-21 the following Insights grant streams have been initiated:
Financial Capacity – funding access to financial support to help eligible South Australians to address issues relevant to them
Digital Inclusion – funding projects that support access to digital technology
Media Training and Story Telling – funding people with lived experience of economic injustice to proactively engage with the media
Older Women focus – co-designing a grant program with people with lived experience
Sole Parent Family focus – co-designing a grant program with people with lived experience
