Leaving a legacy for South Australians

23 Nov 2020

The Wyatt Trust was humbled to recently receive a generous gift from the will of the late Max and Martha Grahn.

Max and Martha were a humble immigrant couple who fled the tumult of Europe and arrived in Australia after World War 2. Valuing a quiet, rural life, the couple eventually purchased land near Ardrossan on Yorke Peninsula.

The Grahns had no children but wished to help their adopted country and chose Wyatt for its enduring reputation for offering practical help to people suffering the hardships of poverty and inequality.

The funds they have given will increase the support being made available to people in South Australia.

Through their hard work and determination, Max and Martha built themselves a new life and, on their passing, left a lasting gift that reflects their generosity and gratefulness for the life they had in their beloved South Australia. They will never know how much they helped others.

The Governors of Wyatt invite you to also consider the kind of legacy you would like to leave as a gift in your will.
